Validating Transfer-of-Custody
- The solution includes the ability for staff to validate the weapons, gear and ammo transferred to their custody by electronic signature pad or external monitor mounted outside the window / armory wall.
- The electronic signature pad displays item descriptions, serial #’s, make and model. Staff signs signature pad to accept custody of the items they received.
- The external monitor includes the same data as well as photo of items. Staff verify items by photo and data & enter their PIN to accept custody.

- Mobile scanners and tablets enable staff to scan weapon, gear and ammo barcodes and RFID tags to perform rapid inventories after shift-turnover events and whenever inventories are required.

- Video/photo camera can be placed at the exit to capture photo or video of the person that was removing a weapon in an unauthorized manner. This event is time-date stamped in the software and can be reconciled against the video time-date stamp.
